Venturing beyond, Jalina explored the realms of 360 film and virtual reality, leading the charge in interactive video content that pushes the envelope. Her journey includes a pivotal role in developing NYC’s premier volumetric video capture studio at Pier59 Studios from 2018 to 2020, a project that set new standards for immersive storytelling. At Navteca, she contributed to merging data visualization with immersive footage to narrate compelling stories about climate and science, demonstrating her knack for leveraging technology to tell stories that matter.

Born to a U.S. diplomat, Jalina’s global upbringing has honed her skills in negotiation and team-building, propelling her to bridge cultures and innovate across borders. In 2021, she introduced Finnish innovation to the U.S. market with Business Finland, pioneering the first virtual XR Accelerator in collaboration with MSFT Garage, showcasing her ability to foster international tech collaborations.
